What are you using to color with? I see that this is under the Traditional gallery, so possibly Copics?

Eevee has got to be one of my favorite Pokemon. I'm glad to see that someone else likes her, too! :)

ack!!!! don't tell me that "traditional" category is for
hand-colored images (...)

T____T

the eevee pic's done in photoshop
(i like being simple so i only use paintbrush lol)

Oops, I think I may've messed up communication here... This pic, done in Photoshop or Painter or the like, would go under Digital Art. If it was done with colored pencils or markers and then scanned/photographed, it would go under Traditional. Sorry if I'm being confusing!

ooo~ I see now!
thank you TvT (now i gotta move most of my drawing XD)

PS: You made perfect sense<

hey, if I drew hand-drew sth and scanned it
BUT colored it with photoshop etc, which category would it fit under :/
:iconkikaruu:
Digital art... sadly. It's because you used technical means to modify the picture into something rather different. However, cleaning up lines or adjusting contrast doesn't fall into the digital category because the picture wasn't drastically changed, like by adding color.

Imagine a photo of a cat. It can be sent through a black-n-white filter and be called editing; this is because the picture itself isn't changed, just the way it's presented, be it old or new. But if you add, say, a bird into a corner, it's then photo-manipulation, since there's something noticeably different. Not to say tone isn't noticeable...

And even then, sometimes things get into the gray area, so to speak. Usually, a mod might move your image to the appropriate category. If you ask why [nicely, of course], they might tell you why. Eventually, you get to the point where you can easily tell where a picture should go.
